Following Your Dreams
The goal of this project was to examine the role that mass media plays in an individual’s desire to pursue their goals. The project expands on the existing media concerning the subject with a short film and a podcast, each approaching the material in its own manner as well as a research paper on the subject.
A Dream too Far
The story follows a disillusioned teacher who wanted to become a writer but never dared to follow his dreams. But when a student shows promise in a writing class, the teacher rediscovers his passion and tries to help the student avoid making the same mistake he made.
A Dream too Heroic (The Hero of Korvalin)
The story is framed by two friend Dan and Terry. Dan asks Terry for feedback on a story he wrote. The story he wrote is one of adventure in a fantasy setting. During the course of the story, Terry interrupts and challenges Dan to improve the structure. Within Dan’s story, a hero is trying to achieve her quest, but many obstacles are in her way, and not all is as it seems.
